A few weeks ago, my little family and I were out for an evening walk, talking about whatever. I noticed a woman across the street looking around with a surprised smile on her face, as if looking for someone to share something with, pointing to a white/brown pigeon standing in front of her on the sidewalk. I was in conversation, and we just walked on, glancing over my shoulder at the scene, feeling a little like "that was strange". But not as strange as what happened next.




The bird flew over my husband's head, its wings brushed his hair, and he swirled around and landed on the road right in front of us. Just stood there... so did we, not quite getting what was happening. We tried walking around it and it walked with us. We walked on, fascinated with this creature, trying to get out of the intersection, and it followed. It didn't fly, it just walked... or rather, ran... alongside us. Undeterred by a cat that tried to catch it, it kept following us. Really determined! I never saw such a thing... a pigeon running down the street alongside us! And it was a long way!

We veered off to a path leading to a riverwalk to get him to safety, as cars were zinging by. We paused, and I checked in with the Pleiadian crew to see if I could get some higher insight about what was happening. It appeared it might follow us all the way home!

Here's what I got: "This bird is known to us as one who brings messages to humans. Its message is, beware of flying low or risk getting snared in sorrow."

As we walked a bit further, the pigeon followed, but paused along a clear spot near the river's edge and seemed to be looking out over the scenery, appreciating it. Honest. It was very strange, very intelligent in its movement. Then it turned and followed us, flying around and swooping down to the path in front of us, walked alongside, paused to look at the river again as we continued slowly along, and again swooped down around in front of us. Then it flew off under the bridge and away.

We walked home wondering what had just happened. Our son asked what it meant for humans to fly low. We said if you fly too low, you risk getting tangled in wires and trees. If you fly high, you can see the bigger picture, have a broader perspective. For us, being tempted to take the "all-too human" route of flying with sarcasm or snarky remarks, or giving in to fear or anger or depression drags us down and gets us tangled and ensnared. It leads to sorrow. It's time for us to go higher, and the bird was there to remind us of this.

Especially at this time of temporal compression and heightened energies, I really think this creature is visiting people for this reason. So much has been revealed as I contemplate this experience. Have any of you had any similar experiences lately?
